Along the Path™ Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 3 October 2026
Last updated: 3 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to participation in Along the Path™ courses, workshops, retreats, training programmes, online courses and related educational programmes organised or provided by Along the Path Ltd, Ireland (“Along the Path™”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By registering for, purchasing or otherwise enrolling in an Along the Path™ programme and accepting these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the following conditions.

Where a particular programme has additional programme-specific conditions, those conditions form part of your agreement with Along the Path Ltd as described in Section 25.

1. Registration

Registration is required in advance unless otherwise stated.

When registering, you must provide accurate contact and invoicing information. If you require an invoice to be issued to a company, please provide the company name, address and relevant tax information at the time of registration.

After receiving your registration, we will normally send you a payment request within 3 days where payment is not completed directly during registration.

Your place on a programme is confirmed once the required course fee or deposit has been received, unless we expressly confirm otherwise.

Places may be limited and are subject to availability.

For online courses or digital programmes, access may be provided after the required payment has been received and any applicable registration or account setup has been completed.

2. Course Fees and Payment

The applicable course fee is the price displayed on the relevant registration or sales page at the time of registration or purchase.

Where different prices apply depending on the payment date, payment must be received by 8:00 pm on the relevant deadline date to qualify for that price, unless a different time is expressly stated.

Unless otherwise stated, the course fee covers participation in or access to the programme only.

Travel, accommodation, meals and other personal expenses are not included unless expressly stated.

Where a payment plan or deposit arrangement is offered, the applicable payment conditions will be stated on the registration page or communicated before payment.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that payments are made by the applicable deadlines.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any mandatory rights relating to payments, digital services or consumer contracts that apply under Irish or European Union law.

3. Cancellation by the Participant

If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible.

Unless different cancellation conditions are specifically stated for a particular programme, the following conditions apply.

More than 15 days before the start of the programme

70% of the amount paid will be refunded.

The remaining 30% may be transferred as credit towards another eligible Along the Path™ programme.

15 days or less before the start of the programme

Payments are normally non-refundable.

However, depending on the circumstances and availability, we may agree to transfer some or all of the amount paid towards another Along the Path™ programme.

Any transferred credit is personal to the registered participant unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.

Failure to attend without prior notice does not normally entitle the participant to a refund or transfer.

These cancellation conditions apply subject to any mandatory statutory cancellation, withdrawal or consumer rights that apply to the particular transaction. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits those rights.

4. Consumer Cancellation and Withdrawal Rights

Depending on how and when a programme or digital service is purchased, consumers may have statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights under applicable Irish or European Union consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to remove or restrict such rights.

Where a statutory cancellation period applies, information about that right and any applicable exceptions will be provided as required by law.

Where you expressly request that a service begins during a statutory cancellation period, or request immediate access to digital content or a digital service, additional statutory rules may apply to cancellation and payment for services already supplied.

Any programme-specific cancellation terms operate in addition to, and not in substitution for, mandatory statutory consumer rights.

5. Illness and Unexpected Circumstances

We understand that illness, serious travel disruption, family emergencies and other unexpected circumstances can occur.

If you are unable to attend because of exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to find an appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include transferring some or all of your payment towards a later Along the Path™ programme.

Any such arrangement will be considered individually and is subject to availability.

6. Cancellation or Changes by Along the Path™

Occasionally, circumstances may require us to change the venue, timetable, instructor or other organisational aspects of a programme.

Where reasonably possible, registered participants will be notified of significant changes as early as possible.

We may also reschedule a programme where circumstances make it impractical or unsafe to proceed as originally planned.

If Along the Path Ltd cancels a programme and no suitable alternative or rescheduled programme is agreed with you, payments made for the cancelled programme will be refunded.

Along the Path Ltd is not responsible for independently booked travel, accommodation or other personal expenses associated with attending a programme, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Participants are therefore encouraged to consider flexible or refundable travel and accommodation arrangements where appropriate.

Nothing in this section permits Along the Path Ltd to make a material change to a contracted service where doing so would be inconsistent with applicable consumer law.

7. Nature of Along the Path™ Training

Along the Path™ courses are educational and experiential personal and spiritual development programmes.

Depending on the programme, training may include:

  • movement and Qigong practices;
  • breathing and relaxation exercises;
  • meditation and awareness practices;
  • energetic practices;
  • self-reflection and personal-development exercises;
  • visualisation and inner imagery;
  • partner and group exercises;
  • discussions relating to personal development, consciousness, spirituality, philosophy and related traditions.

Participation in individual exercises is voluntary.

You may choose not to participate in an exercise if you feel uncomfortable, believe that it is inappropriate for you, or simply do not wish to participate.

Participants are encouraged to communicate with the instructor if they have questions, concerns or difficulties with a particular practice.

8. Religious, Spiritual and Energetic Concepts

Along the Path™ teachings may use concepts and terminology relating to energy, energetic structures, energetic frequency, the Higher Self, intuition, consciousness, personal guides, light structures and spiritual development, as well as concepts and perspectives drawn from religious, spiritual, philosophical and contemplative traditions.

These concepts form part of the philosophical, spiritual and experiential framework of the Along the Path™ system.

Along the Path™ may explore teachings or practices originating from, or influenced by, different religious and spiritual traditions.

Participation does not require participants to adopt, change or renounce any religious, spiritual or philosophical belief.

Along the Path™ is not affiliated with, and does not require adherence to, any particular religion, denomination or belief system.

Participants are encouraged to explore these concepts through their own experience, reflection, beliefs and personal judgement.

Individual experiences may differ considerably.

Along the Path Ltd does not guarantee any particular physical, emotional, energetic, spiritual, financial, relationship or personal-development outcome from participation.

9. Health and Personal Responsibility

Participants are responsible for considering whether they are physically and emotionally able to participate in the programme and its individual activities.

Participants should work within their own limits and stop an exercise if they experience pain, significant discomfort, dizziness, distress or other concerning symptoms.

Along the Path™ courses are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical or psychological conditions and are not a substitute for appropriate medical care, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, psychiatric care or other professional healthcare.

If you have a medical condition or injury, are pregnant, are taking medication that may affect participation, or have concerns about whether a particular practice is suitable for you, you should seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.

Where we specifically request information relevant to safe participation, participants should provide accurate information.

Participants remain responsible for decisions concerning their own health and wellbeing.

10. Right to Refuse, Restrict, Pause or Discontinue Participation

The instructor reserves the right to refuse, restrict, pause or discontinue a participant's participation where, in the instructor's reasonable judgement, participation may present a significant risk to the participant, the instructor or others, or may significantly interfere with the safe, respectful and appropriate conduct of the programme.

This may include situations where a participant:

  • behaves in an aggressive, threatening, seriously disruptive or inappropriate manner;
  • harasses, intimidates or deliberately causes distress to another person;
  • repeatedly fails to respect another person's boundaries, privacy, consent, safety or wellbeing;
  • appears to be under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs or other substances to an extent that may impair safe or appropriate participation;
  • has a physical, medical or psychological condition which, based on the information reasonably available to the instructor, makes participation in a particular activity or the programme unsafe or inappropriate at that time;
  • is unable or unwilling to follow reasonable safety instructions;
  • seriously breaches the privacy or confidentiality requirements of the programme;
  • seriously breaches restrictions concerning recording, course access or course materials; or
  • is otherwise unable to participate safely or appropriately.

Where reasonably possible and appropriate, the instructor may first modify, restrict or pause the participant's involvement in particular activities rather than exclude the participant from the entire programme.

Any such decision will be made with regard to the circumstances, the safety of the individual participant and the wellbeing of the group, and not solely because a participant has a medical condition or disability.

In cases involving serious misconduct, intoxication, harassment, deliberate violation of another person's privacy or boundaries, unauthorised recording or distribution of protected course content, or a material safety risk, a participant may be required to leave the programme or may have access to protected online materials suspended while the matter is addressed.

Where participation is terminated because of serious misconduct, intoxication, deliberate disregard of safety instructions or another serious breach of these Terms and Conditions, a refund may not be available, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the case.

11. Alcohol, Drugs and Other Substances

Participants must not attend or participate in Along the Path™ activities while impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs or other substances where that impairment may affect their judgement, behaviour, coordination or ability to participate safely.

The use, possession or distribution of illegal substances during an Along the Path™ programme or at a venue used for the programme is not permitted.

Prescription medication taken as directed does not in itself prevent participation.

However, participants should consider whether medication or its effects may affect their ability to participate safely.

Safety remains the primary consideration.

12. Respectful and Safe Environment

Along the Path™ aims to provide a respectful, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, other participants and the venue.

Harassment, intimidation, discriminatory or threatening behaviour, deliberate disruption, inappropriate sexual behaviour, serious violations of another person's boundaries or privacy, or behaviour creating a significant safety concern will not be accepted.

Participants must follow reasonable instructions relating to safety and the appropriate conduct of exercises.

Along the Path Ltd reserves the right to intervene where reasonably necessary to protect participants, instructors or the learning environment.

13. Physical Contact, Consent and Personal Boundaries

Some Along the Path™ programmes may include optional partner exercises or practices involving appropriate, non-sexual physical contact.

Where physical contact forms part of an exercise, its nature and purpose will be explained.

Participants have the right to decline physical contact or participation in any partner exercise.

Consent and personal boundaries must always be respected.

Consent to one exercise or form of physical contact does not imply consent to another exercise or another form of contact.

A participant may withdraw consent at any time.

No participant should be pressured to take part in an exercise that they do not wish to perform.

No Along the Path™ course involves sexual activity or sexual interaction.

14. Confidentiality and Personal Sharing

During Along the Path™ programmes, participants may voluntarily share personal experiences as part of discussions, exercises or reflective practices.

Participants are never required to disclose personal or intimate information that they do not wish to share.

Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and not disclose another participant's personal stories, experiences, circumstances or sensitive information outside the programme without that person's permission.

Information learned through private conversations with another participant should also be treated respectfully and confidentially.

While Along the Path™ asks all participants to respect confidentiality, Along the Path Ltd cannot guarantee the actions of individual participants outside the training environment.

15. Photography, Video, Audio Recording and Participant Privacy

The privacy and personal boundaries of participants must be respected throughout Along the Path™ programmes and during interactions directly connected with participation in the programme.

Participants must not photograph, video record, audio record or otherwise record another participant without that person's prior knowledge and consent.

This requirement applies not only during formal teaching sessions but also during:

  • exercises, demonstrations and group activities;
  • breaks and informal conversations;
  • meals and course-related social gatherings;
  • interactions immediately before or after scheduled programme activities;
  • shared transport or car journeys between participants connected with attending or leaving the programme; and
  • other social or private interactions that arise directly from participants meeting through the Along the Path™ programme.

Secret, concealed or non-consensual photography, audio recording or video recording of another participant is strictly prohibited.

Agreeing to have a conversation, spend time together, meet socially, travel together, accept or provide a lift, or share a car journey does not constitute consent to being photographed, filmed or audio recorded.

The fact that the scheduled teaching session or programme has ended does not by itself create permission to record another participant during a course-related interaction.

Consent must relate to the particular photograph or recording.

Consent to one photograph, video or audio recording does not automatically constitute consent to further recording.

Participants must also respect any conditions attached to consent, including restrictions on sharing or publication.

An identifiable photograph, video or recording of another participant must not be published, distributed, forwarded, uploaded or shared through social media, websites, messaging groups or other channels without appropriate permission from that participant.

Participants may not record Along the Path™ teaching sessions, presentations, demonstrations, exercises or course materials without prior permission from the instructor, even where other participants cannot be identified.

This prohibition also applies to protected online teaching sessions, course videos and other digital training materials unless Along the Path Ltd has expressly provided a download or recording option.

If Along the Path™ wishes to take photographs or recordings for promotional, educational or other purposes in which participants can be identified, participants will be informed and appropriate permission will be sought.

Participants may decline to appear in promotional photographs or recordings.

A deliberate or serious violation of another participant's privacy, including covert or non-consensual recording, may be treated as serious misconduct and may result in the participant being required to leave the programme in accordance with Section 10.

16. Course Materials and Intellectual Property

Along the Path™, its course materials, training methods, written materials, presentations, graphics, videos, audio recordings, diagrams, exercises and other original content may be protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights.

Course materials are provided for the participant's personal learning and practice, unless otherwise stated.

Participation in an Along the Path™ programme or access to an online course does not automatically grant permission to reproduce, copy, record, download where downloading has not been enabled, distribute, publish, upload, transmit, share, sell, license or commercially exploit Along the Path™ materials.

It also does not grant permission to teach Along the Path™ methods, represent yourself as an Along the Path™ instructor, consultant or practitioner, or use the Along the Path™ name, branding or training structure commercially.

Separate written permission, training, certification or licensing may be required for professional use.

17. Online Courses, Accounts and Access

Where an Along the Path™ programme includes online or digital content, access is provided to the registered participant for their personal use, subject to the applicable programme conditions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • login details and course access are personal to the registered participant;
  • account credentials should not be shared with another person;
  • another person should not be permitted to use your account to access paid or protected course materials;
  • course videos and protected digital materials must not be copied, recorded, downloaded where downloading is not expressly enabled, redistributed or made publicly available;
  • access links or protected course URLs must not knowingly be distributed for the purpose of allowing unauthorised access; and
  • technical measures used to protect course content must not deliberately be circumvented.

You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to keep your login details secure.

If you believe your account or course access has been compromised, please contact us.

We may take reasonable measures to investigate suspected unauthorised access or distribution and, where reasonably necessary, may temporarily restrict access while the issue is investigated.

Any permanent restriction or termination of paid access will be considered in light of the circumstances, the seriousness of the breach and applicable consumer law.

18. Personalised Course Video Watermarking

Certain protected Along the Path™ course videos may display a personalised watermark while the participant watches the content.

The watermark may include the participant's name and/or a partially masked version of the email address associated with the course access, for example:

Along the Path™ • Participant Name • ab***@example.com

Personalised watermarking may be used to:

  • identify protected course access;
  • discourage unauthorised copying, recording, sharing or redistribution;
  • protect Along the Path Ltd's course materials and intellectual property;
  • support course security; and
  • assist in investigating suspected unauthorised distribution.

Participants must not deliberately remove, obscure, bypass or interfere with a watermark or other reasonable technical protection applied to Along the Path™ course materials for the purpose of facilitating unauthorised copying, recording or distribution.

Use of personal information for this purpose is described in the Along the Path Ltd Privacy Policy.

Use of cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage or similar browser technologies in connection with protected course access is described in the Along the Path Ltd Cookie Policy.

19. Attendance, Completion and Certificates

Where a certificate of attendance or completion is offered, participants may be required to attend specified portions of the programme and complete specified exercises or other requirements.

Participation in an Along the Path™ course does not automatically qualify a participant to teach Along the Path™ methods, provide professional Along the Path™ services or represent themselves as an Along the Path™ instructor, consultant or practitioner.

Professional recognition or authorisation within the Along the Path™ system is subject to the requirements of the relevant training pathway.

20. Repeat Participants and Discounts

Participants who have previously completed an eligible Along the Path™ course may receive a repeat-participant discount where advertised.

For the Along the Path™ Level 1 Foundation Training, participants who have previously completed the training with us are currently eligible for a 50% repeat-participant discount on the applicable course fee.

Other discounts or promotional offers apply only where expressly stated.

Unless specifically indicated otherwise, discounts cannot automatically be combined.

If you believe you qualify for a discount, please inform us before making payment.

21. Personal Beliefs and Individual Choice

Along the Path™ recognises that participants may have different religious, spiritual, philosophical, cultural and personal perspectives.

Participation does not require adherence to any particular religion, spiritual tradition or belief system.

Participants are encouraged to consider the teachings according to their own experience, beliefs, values and personal judgement.

Participants are also expected to respect the beliefs and perspectives of others.

No participant is required to accept a spiritual, energetic, philosophical or religious concept as a condition of participation.

22. Results and Personal Development

Personal and spiritual development is an individual process.

Experiences, examples, testimonials or outcomes described in Along the Path™ materials or by instructors or previous participants should not be interpreted as guarantees that another participant will experience the same results.

Individual experiences and outcomes may vary.

Participants remain responsible for how they interpret and apply the information and practices learned during a programme.

23. Limitation of Liability

Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and personal practice during and following an Along the Path™ programme.

To the extent permitted by law, Along the Path Ltd is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in a programme or from decisions made by a participant based on their personal interpretation or application of course material.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or removes statutory consumer rights under applicable Irish or European Union law.

24. Personal Data, Privacy and Marketing

Personal information provided during registration or participation may be processed for purposes including:

  • administering registration;
  • communicating about the programme;
  • processing payments;
  • issuing invoices and maintaining appropriate financial records;
  • managing attendance and course access;
  • providing online course functionality;
  • protecting course materials and intellectual property;
  • responding to questions and requests;
  • maintaining appropriate safety and administrative records; and
  • meeting applicable legal and administrative requirements.

Further information about how personal information is collected, used, stored and protected is provided in the Along the Path Ltd Privacy Policy.

Information about cookies, browser storage and similar technologies is provided in the Along the Path Ltd Cookie Policy.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications.

Newsletter and marketing consent is optional and is handled separately where consent is required.

Participants will only be added to the Along the Path™ marketing or newsletter mailing list where they have separately indicated that they wish to receive such communications or where another lawful basis applies.

Marketing consent may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the communication.

Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect essential communications relating to a programme, purchase, account or service for which you have registered.

25. Programme-Specific Conditions

Individual Along the Path™ courses, workshops, retreats, online courses or other programmes may have additional conditions relating to matters such as:

  • deposits;
  • accommodation;
  • meals;
  • cancellation deadlines;
  • payment schedules;
  • attendance requirements;
  • online access periods;
  • prerequisites;
  • age requirements;
  • required equipment; or
  • specific health and safety considerations.

Where programme-specific conditions apply, they will be communicated on the relevant registration or sales page or otherwise made available before registration or purchase is completed.

Those specific conditions form part of the participant's agreement with Along the Path Ltd for that programme.

If a programme-specific condition differs from these general Terms and Conditions, the programme-specific condition will apply to that particular matter, provided that it was clearly communicated before the contract was entered into and is consistent with applicable law.

26. Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, programmes, business practices, technology, or legal and regulatory requirements.

The current version will be published on our website together with the date of the latest update.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed with you, the Terms and Conditions applicable to a particular booking, purchase or programme are those accepted by you when that booking, purchase or registration was made.

Where we make a material change that affects an existing booking, programme or ongoing service, we will provide appropriate notice where reasonably practicable and where required by applicable law.

We will not apply updated Terms and Conditions retrospectively in a way that removes or materially reduces contractual rights that have already arisen under an existing booking or purchase, unless permitted or required by law.

Where a material proposed change to an ongoing consumer contract requires your agreement or gives rise to a statutory right to terminate or otherwise respond to the change, we will respect those rights.

New bookings, purchases, renewals and registrations will be subject to the version of the Terms and Conditions in force at the time they are made, unless otherwise stated.

27. Version and Acceptance Records

We may retain a record of the version of these Terms and Conditions that was presented to and accepted by a participant in connection with a registration or purchase.

For example, a version may be identified by its effective date or by an internal version reference such as:

ATP-TC-2026-10-03

Such records may be retained as reasonably necessary to administer the contractual relationship, demonstrate the terms applicable to a transaction, resolve questions or disputes and meet applicable legal or administrative requirements.

Further information about the processing and retention of personal data is provided in our Privacy Policy.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Where legally possible, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Nothing in this section permits an unfair or otherwise unenforceable consumer contract term to be replaced or interpreted in a manner that deprives a consumer of mandatory statutory rights.

29. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Nothing in this provision removes or restricts any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under Irish or European Union law.

Where mandatory consumer protection rules of another jurisdiction apply to a consumer notwithstanding this choice of law, these Terms and Conditions do not exclude those mandatory protections.
